Context
Salepepe.it is the Food portal of Mondadori dedicated to recipes and the whole world of culinary culture with news, information on events, taste itineraries and a Web TV with video recipes.
The site was created ex-novo with an SEO-friendly approach from the foundation.
Objectives
We brought a famous and authoritative brand such as Sale & Pepe online, making it a significant player in a continually expanding industry, such as the Food sector.
The Project
Pay attention to the information architecture, keywords mapping, timely use of tags and rich snippets, they are among the technical elements, closely linked to editorial choices: there is an essential component of innovation in defining data content plans -driven, following both seasonality and user trends.
Results
Just over a year after its launch, Salepepe.it has climbed the Audiweb’s Food & Cooking rankings, reaching the first position among magazine publishers with over 1.4 million unique users and more than 5.3 million page views per month (data recorded at the end of 2015).
It started from zero and reached 2.4 million visits per month (Google Analytics, September 2015) and over 17.400 keywords positioned among search engine results (Sistrix, October 2015).
